Gamescom will also feature Microsoft subsidiary Bethesda as an attendee.
No matter what happens with the proposed merger,Microsoft has said it will press forward.
Gamescom 2023 runs August 23-27, which is right before Starfield launches on September 6.
Whether or not the game will factor into Xbox’s plans remains to be seen.
