“It just felt like it was much too soon to recast,” Feige said.
“Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window.
The world is still processing the loss of Chad.
And Ryan [Coogler, director] poured that into the story.”
Wakanda Forever, a direct sequel to 2018’s Black Panther, will hit theaters on November 11.
This past summer, we were treated to the film’s first trailer–which debuted at Comic-Con.
Earlier this year, Feige also announced that Wakanda Foreverwill end Phase 4 of the MCU.
