Director Shawn Levy explains why the third Deadpool movie is not called Deadpool 3.
Instead of being just another Deadpool movie, it’s a “two-hander” that features two main characters.
“It also gave me an opportunity.
It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3.
It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine.
And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies.
They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”
Levy also teased that early screenings of Deadpool and Wolverine have been “extremely, extremely promising.”
Deadpool and Wolverine is the first new Deadpool movie since Disney acquired the franchise.
Deadpool and Wolverine will also have acrude popcorn bucket.
