Xur Location
Use the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week.
When you spawn in, hang a left and head down through the stairs into the Hangar area.
When you arrive, turn left again and run to the north edge of the area.
Look for a set of stairs leading up to a catwalk, where you’ll find Xur waiting.
Xur Exotic and Legendary Items
Merciless is an old fusion rifle, but it checks out.
The quest requires you to either complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.
Alongside changes in his location, Xur’s inventory also rotates weekly.
Both are safely skippable.
As for Xur’s Legendary weapons, there aren’t many standouts.
TheSeventh Seraph VY-7submachine gun is the best option here, partially because it’s another of those weirdAccuracy Masterworkguns.
It also packsFourth Time’s the CharmandVorpal Weapon, making it decent for PvE and PvP.
The gun gets a damage boost whenever you kill an enemy and then reload it.
