Kelly Marcel will direct Venom 3, which once again sees Hardy in the titular role.
She previously scripted the first two films in the franchise and will write the third as well.
This will also mark her first time helming a movie.
Oscar-nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor will join Hardy in Venom 3in an undisclosed role.
