The Hollywood writer and actor strikes, however, put a wrench in the works.
Those strikes are now over and Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann can get rolling withtheir plans for Season 2.
Another major HBO show set to return is House of the Dragon.
Its own second season isset to debut in Summer 2024.
That show did not suspend production during the Hollywood strikes and stayed on schedule.
