Brosnahan said people should take what they read on the internet with a grain of salt, though.
No official casting announcements have been made, but Brosnahan is excited about the idea of playing the journalist.

But it would be extraordinary,” Brosnahan said onThe View.
“I grew up watching Lois Lane.
This incredibly talented journalist who isfarfrom a damsel in distress.
I would jump at the chance if it arose.”
Brosnahan is best known for her roles on House of Cards and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Nicholas Hoult (The Great) is also believed to be in the running for Superman or Lex Luthor.
