Legendary and Sony have reportedly decided on when to release the Street Fighter movie.
Now, Legendary and Sony Pictures have set a date for their take onStreet Fighter.
GameSpot has learned that the upcoming Street Fighter reboot will be released on March 20, 2026.
The studios want it sooner, while the Philippou brothers already had a horror film lined up.
A new director or directors will have to be in place soon to make that date.
Capcom’s Street Fighter first made its debut in the arcades in 1987.
That game introduced players to series mainstays Ryu and Ken.
But it wasn’t until Street Fighter II in 1991 that the games became a global phenomenon.
That title introduced fan-favorites Chun-Li, Guile, and more.
Since then, Capcom has released numerous sequels, including the most recent game,Street Fighter 6.
