The latest season takes place six months after “The Battle of Starcourt.”
However, there’s a new supernatural threat they must battle.

The Duffer Brothers will continue to serve as executive producers and will direct Episodes 401, 402, 407-409.
Shawn Levy and Nimrod Antal will also direct two episodes each this season.

Stranger Things returns on May 27 for the first batch of episodes and will conclude on July 1.
