The creator has paused the development of Haunted Chocolatier to work on Stardew Valley’s new update.
There is going to be a Stardew 1.6 update.
It’s mostly changes for modders (which will make it easier & more powerful to mod).

After Stardew Valley update 1.6 goes live, he’ll return to working on the new game.
Haunted Chocolatier will be a sim RPG in which players must run a chocolate shop.
Players will make chocolate, interact with NPCs, and ensure the store looks and runs properly.
The game was announced in October 2021.
