Stardew Valleyhas reached a new record for concurrent players on Steam thanks to the release of the 1.6 update.
The new concurrent record comes over eight years after its full launch back in February 2016.

The update is a free edition to the game, but is currently only available on PC.
Barone had previously stated that hepaused development of Haunted Chocolatierto work on Stardew Valley update 1.6.
