The Marvel superhero will return.
There will be a sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Appearing onThe Tonight Show, Liu was asked by host Jimmy Fallon about Shang-Chi 2.
But then the actor reasserted that a follow-up is still planned.
“Well look, I will say this: It’s definitely happening,” Liu said.
Earlier this year, it was announcedCretton will direct the live-action Naruto movie.
The filmmaker was also previouslyattached to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but he left the projectin November.
There is no official release date for Shang-Chi 2 from Disney and Marvel.
The only MCU movie coming out this year is Deadpool and Wolverine, which premieres July 26.
