The game will be available next week on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, Rockstar has confirmed.
It will also be playable on PS5 through backwards compatibility.

A physical edition is set for release on October 13, Rockstar said on theRed Dead Redemption website.
This is a port with a number of touch-ups.
But it’s not a full-blown remaster or remake.
In terms of what’s new, there is support for additional languages and Trophy support on PlayStation.
There is no online support in this re-release.

It could be therumored Borderlands collection.
Red Dead Redemption was originally released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
On Xbox, the game is playable on Xbox One and Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
Red Dead Redemption has never been available on Nintendo Switch, however, until now.
A sequel, Red Dead Redemption II, was released in 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Red Dead Redemption II was released on PC but the original game never was.
