The whole idea riffs on the canceled Superman Lives project from the 1990s, which would have starred Cage.

Batman director Tim Burton was going to helm the movie.

“When I went to the picture, it was me fighting a giant spider,” Cage said.

“I did not do that.

That was not what I did.

I didnt do any of that, so I dont know what happened there.”

This led to Cage ripping into AI for movies, saying it’s “a nightmare to me.

Cage is currently promotingDream Scenario, in which everyone is having sleeping fantasies about his characternamed Paul Matthews.

The movie is slated to premiere November 10 in select theaters, with a wider release on November 22.
