Sega provides new details in a developer interview.
Sega has confirmed that the new upcoming Crazy Taxi game will feature an open world and contains multiplayer elements.
The goal here is to experiment with new mechanics for the game while keeping Crazy Taxi’s chaotic feel.
The developers explain that the bright yellow taxis with vibrant blue skies help create an energetic and exciting world.
The open-world structure is also inspired by theme parks.
So far, platforms and release windows were not revealed.
The last Crazy Taxi game was 2017’s Crazy Taxi Tycoon, a spin-off game on iOS and Android.
The last mainline entry was 2002’s Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller.
