In the games secret ending, Dark Samus is seen reforming in space, ready to return again.
With the other Leviathans successfully dispatched, Samus travels to Phaaze for a climactic final confrontation with Dark Samus.
However, a new threat looks like it’s looming in the shadows.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether or not that will be the case.
