While the trailer was light on story info, it did contain a ton of gameplay footage.
The first-person shooting is now in VR, with a few different guns shown off.
The game follows Serdar, a doctor searching the post-apocalyptic Moscow metro tunnels for his wife.
“This origins story is so essential to me,” said Glukhovsky.
The Metro series has thus far had three games, beginning with Metro 2033 well over a decade ago.
