The latest season of Mayans MC sure was a wild ride–and a scary one at times.

“We haven’t really seen a benevolent leader before,” showrunner Elgin James told GameSpot.
“We haven’t seen someone that operates on love for his brothers.
Then again, as James explained, this is the story the show has been telling from the beginning.
“We always knew that he couldn’t escape his fate,” the showrunner said.
Angel was a mess, like any of us would be when somebody we love died.”
EZ doesn’t naturally operate on emotion like his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) or his mother.
Instead, he said, there “may be some pockets of darkness.”
Perhaps, there’s still enough good in his life to keep EZ from going too far.
Mayans has yet to be renewed for a fifth season.
