That said, the thriller is a remake of the same-named Spanish movie from 2015.
But that’s not all, unfortunately.
It’s a tactic not far from what Jigsaw likes to do with his victims in the Saw franchise.
Thankfully, Turner seems to have a particular set of skills as well near the end of the trailer.
He threatens the antagonist after his daughter is apparently harmed, adding that he will kill him.
Nimrod Antal is directing the action-thriller, having previously helmed Predators as well as episodes of Stranger Things.
Retribution will premiere in theaters on August 25.
