Indie horror game The Store Is Closed is under fire from the Swedish furniture giant Ikea.
What’s surprising about this move is thatThe Store Is Closedisn’t even available for sale yet.
The legal letter accuses solo developer Jacob Shaw of using “indicia associated with the famous Ikea stores.”
Shaw toldKotakuthat he disputes this characterization, noting that some of these charges are quite vague.
The letter gives Shaw ten working days to remove these “indicia” from the game.
Shaw said that he’s had to shift away from alpha testing to focus on addressing these changes.
We featured another Ikea-themed game in ourRoblox horror roundup.
