The Governing and Tuning Stones are the only way to upgrade your Seneschal.
One of the major additions toDiablo 4in Season 3 is the Seneschal companion.
The stones can be equipped on the Seneschal and give it access to enhanced attacks.
The Governing Stones offer attacks themselves while the Tuning Stones enhance the abilities of the Governing Stones.
The first is through completing theArcane Tremor eventsin Diablo 4.
Running through these events eventually rewards you with either a Governing or Tuning Stone.
To complete an Arcane Tremor, you have to close Voltaic Obelisks and gatherElemental Stones.
Your reward for killing the Herald is one Governing or Tuning Stone.
If you’re looking for more Shattered Stones, you might completeVaultsacross Sanctuary.
Vaults contain more Construct enemies that drop the stones, making farming them quite simple.
At the end of a Vault, you will also receive one Tuning Stone every time.
The quests you complete throughout the season reward you with caches that sometimes contain either or both stones.
The companionscales with your character level, so getting stronger has another benefit now.
There are 12 Governing Stones and 25 Tuning Stones available to earn.
