Episode 9 director of the Game of Thrones prequel series discusses that moment between Larys and Alicent.
Larys is nicknamed “Clubfoot” for his disabled foot, which causes him to walk with a cane.
“Her mind is incredible.
I mean, she really wrote us a wonderful episode, I have to say,” Kilner said.
It’s so intrusive and invasive.
It’s a really dirty scene."
Larys has been Alicent’s confidant and helper since she was a young girl.
He has even killed members of his own family to support Alicent’s cause.
She could have killed them, presumably, but opted to stare them down instead.
