Writer-director James Gunn has announced that filming on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
Gunn shared an image of the final film slate from the last day of shooting.
“I love this amazing cast and crew and their beautiful talent and kind souls,” he said.
“I’m a lucky human to have them on the journey with me for nearly a decade.”
Fans may notice that Zoe Saldana is missing from the photo.
Gunn also said Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
3 represents the end of the trilogy that began with the 2014 film.
And thats a picture wrap on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.

While filming on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
3 is now complete, the movie is not done and ready.
It presumably will include lots of VFX and potentially some re-shoots.
The film is slated for releases in theaters in May 2023.
After that comes the Ms. Marvel TV series in June and then Thor: Love and Thunder in July.
