Sam and Victor’s Day Off will focus on the 1986 film’s infamous valets.
The spin-off is coming from Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald.
Cobra Kai writer Bill Polsey is set to write the film.
(Edson has continued to work steadily in films.)
Stephen Cedars, Benji Kleiman, and Scott Yacyshyn will be associate producers.
This week, Netflix releasedthe first trailer for Season 5 of Cobra Kai.
The series will return to the streaming service on September 9.
