Vin Diesel says Universal now wants the finale to span three movies.
Fast X could be a three-parter, according to star and producer Vin Diesel.
It was originally going to be two movies, but why not one more, the studio reportedly asked.
“Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter.
After the studio saw Part 1, they said could you make Fast X: The Finale a trilogy?
So umm,” Diesel said, trailing off.
Co-star Michelle Rodriguez added, “It’s three acts in any story.”
Reality check: Diesel is not going to get in trouble for this.
In fact, it’s possible this was a planned stunt to generateeven morebuzz for the Fast series.
Hewas replaced by Louis Leterrier(The Incredible Hulk, Netflix’s live-action Lupin).
Fast X releases in theaters on May 19, 2023.
