Speaking to Access Hollywood (via Deadline), Lilly said Renner has “recovered like a mofo.”
She said she got goosebumps when visiting Renner recently and seeing the progress he’s made.
“I was like, ‘Why are you mobile?
Why are you mobile?
What’s happening?'”
“I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain.
But he was wheeling himself around, laughing with friends.
It’s a miracle.
It’s a straight-up miracle.”
She added: “He is recovering incredibly, and it’s beautiful.
I’m so grateful.”
Lilly and Renner appeared together in the 2010 Oscar-winning movie The Hurt Locker.
He spent time in the ICU and underwent surgery before moving back home to continue his recovery there.
