According toThe Hollywood Reporter, Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?)
has joined the star-studded cast of the sequel.
There is no word on who Nelson will play, however.
The sequel is slated to arrive in theaters on November 3 this year.
Despite the at-home release, Dune earned more than $400 million worldwide and racked up 10 Oscar nominations.
It won six, including Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound.
