In PvP though, Woven Mail won’t provide additional protection against melee and headshot damage.
One is called the Threadling grenade, where three projectiles weave as Threadlings on impact.
Also, the Shackle grenade detonates in the air, sending projectiles to suspend and shackle nearby enemies.
Aspects and Fragments have become a core part of subclass customization and remain an essential part of Strand.
When Threadling perches on you, it kind of condenses down into the smaller form and orbits around you.

Also, Smith mentions that new parts of Strand and new Aspects will roll out throughout upcoming Lightfall seasons.
Strand Supers and Melee Attacks
The grappling rope is the Hunter’s specialty.
For the heavy attack, the Hunter hurls the rope dart in a circle to attack nearby enemies.
This melee severs targets and decreases the enemy damage output.
