The company is also dropping three publishing labels.
According toGamesIndustry.biz, Plaion is dropping Deep Silver, Prime Matter, and Ravenscourt.
Instead of publishing titles under those labels, future titles will reportedly be published under Plaion.
The aim is reportedly to produce fewer titles at a higher quality.
Additionally, the restructuring won’t take effect immediately, but over the next year.
The spokesperson also noted that this has nothing to do withEmbracer Group’s ongoing review.
It’s unclear what’s happening, if anything, with Milestone and Vertigo Games.
Plaion was previously known as Koch Media, whichrebranded to its current name in August 2022.
Deep Silver is known for games such asDead Island 2and Saints Row.
