The Ryan Reynolds-starring movie was paused in the middle of production because of the Hollywood actors strike.
Apparently, even the Deadpool 3 director has heard the scuttlebutt.
Speaking withET Canada, Levy was asked about Avengers: Secret Wars and responded vaguely.
“I read that rumor, and that’s all I’m gonna say,” he said.
“It’s raw, it’s a little gritty,” Levy said.
“It’s not trying to be slick or too polished.
It’s definitely not aliens fighting in space environments, it’s real-world grounded.
We don’t want it to look like set-extensions on sound stages.”
Officially, the film is set to release in theaters May 3.
But a delay seems inevitable after production was paused because ofthe Hollywood actors strike.
