Activision has revealed the full roadmap for Season 3 ofModern Warfare 2, which launches on April 12.
The new multiplayer content includes a brand-new battle pass, Gunfight, and the return of the Intervention sniper.

Here is everything you should probably know about Modern Warfare 2’s Season 3 update.
New weapons and operator
Season 3 will introduce four weapons to the game.

These will be available to unlock either through in-game challenges or the purchase of shop bundles.
More operators are teased to arrive later in the season, which will likely be available as shop bundles.
Season 3 also adds an upscaled version of the battle pass bundle.

New modes
Multiplayer will add Cranked, Gunfight, and GW Infected.
While Cranked and Gunfight will arrive at launch, GW Infected is scheduled for later in the season.
This will be Call of Duty’s Infected multiplayer mode played on the larger Ground War maps.
Black Gold is a night-vision goggle map, which brings back the NVG multiplayer feature from Modern Warfare 2019.
Later in the season, Alboran Hatchery will arrive as a 6v6 standard map.
Both Ground War maps will arrive at launch.
New co-op content
A new season means a new Raid episode.
A new Special Ops mission is also announced for the mid-season update.
Players will take on the Las Almas Cartel in a location set somewhere in Al Mazrah.
Ranked Play will also receive a new season of cosmetic rewards to earn.
