The 2023 movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts contained an epilogue that referenced a possible crossover with G.I.
Joe, so this wouldn’t be totally out of the blue.
It would mark the first-ever live-action crossover movie with the two iconic Hasbro toy brands.
There is no word on who Hemsworth might play in the crossover film, or who may direct it.
Bringing the brands together makes a lot of sense, synergistically speaking.
After all, the Transformers and G.I.
Joe movie franchises have combined to make more than $6 billion at the global box office.
Earlier in 2024, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura hinted that a Transformers/G.I.
Joe crossover moviecould arrive as soon as 2026.
He also shed some light on the approach to the film.
“We are exploring now how to do that,” di Bonaventura said.
