Joonas Suotamo says it’s been a dream of his since he was a child to play a Jedi.
Suotamo took over as Chewbacca from Peter Mayhew, who passed away in 2019.
Mayhew played Chewbacca dating back to the 1977 original Star Wars through to 2015’s The Force Awakens.
After he passed away in 2019, Suotamo took over as Chewbacca.
After that, Suotamo started his acting career.
The Acolyte premieres this June on Disney+.
