Charlie Brooker offers some hints about the sequel to his fan-favorite Black Mirror episode.
The episode was so well-received that Brooker has been talking about a sequel since 2018.
Now, the sequel has apparently already begun production.
“It was something we were looking at for quite a long time,” said Brooker.
But there are a lot of schedules to sort out, and then the pandemic got in the way.
So, it’s been a minute.
But even writing the characters is a luxury I don’t often get.
I’ve never had it before on Black Mirror, to have a character that survives beyond one episode!
Brooker hinted thatPlemons' character may also return despite his fate in the previous episode.
He also teased a larger canvas for the story.
“We continue the story from where we left off,” said Brooker.
“And there are some new characters as well.
There is new stuff to do with where they’ve now ended up versus where they were.”
Black Mirror Season 7 will premiere on Netflix in 2025.
