Avatar: The Way Of Water has premiered today, June 7, on bothMaxandDisney+.
Unusually, the blockbuster will be one of the few films to simultaneously release on competing streaming services.
David Valdes and Richard Baneham serve as the film’s executive producers.
This may be the last time we see a movie simultaneously launch on Max and Disney+.
Going forward, Disney will no longer need to share streaming rights on movies.
There’s still no word on the Avatar sequel’s physical release.
