The faces of Anya Taylor-Joy and Alyla Browne were blended together with AI to create young Furiosa’s face.
“George Miller had the idea very early on,” said Taylor-Joy.
The audience was already getting used to a new Furiosa.
He wanted the transition from both actors playing her to be seamless.
And so I did two days of the craziest things you could ever possibly imagine.
And they mixed our faces together."
The actress also went on to explain why AI performers have Hollywood so worried.
“There’s a reason that our industry went on strike,” said Taylor-Joy.
It’s the lack of consent in anything in life that is the scary thing."
