Regardless, Fandango has shared a short video that offers a glimpse of its facehugger-inspired design.
It’s not as obscene as the Dune or Deadpool and Wolverine popcorn buckets.
But it is definitely eye-catching.
The facehuggers in that footage move with alarming speed before attaching themselves to their victims and implanting their eggs.
That goes a long way towards explaining why so many human colonies have been overrun by xenomorphs.
Even at that stage in their lifecycle, those creatures are dangerous.

Alien: Romulus is scheduled to hit theaters on August 16.
But the full reveal of the Alien: Romulus popcorn bucket will probably arrive much sooner than that.
