Here’s a complete rundown of where to find every Vision of the Traveler in the Pale Heart.

Vision 1 - The Landing

This one’s pretty simple.

Start at The Landing’s transmat zone and immediately turn left to head toward the edge of the area.

This little pool is immediately below and to the left of the transmat zone when you spawn in.

Drop down into the pool and you’ll find the Vision.

Vision 2 - The Blooming

it’s crucial that you look up to find this Vision.

It’s nestled in the branches of a tree at the east side of The Blooming.

This Vision is up pretty high, so you’ll have to find a reliable path to climb the tree in which it’s settled.

The Vision is right in the middle, so obvious that it’s easy to miss.

The red path is the one you want.

Jump across the rooftops until you reach their end along the red path.

The big dead tree you’re looking for is almost at the exit of The Blooming toward The Seclusion.

Before very long, you’ll reach the end of the rooftops, with nowhere else to go.

Facing east, you should see a small pool of water across the gap with a waterfall.

Jump to it and you’ll find the Vision hanging out, just behind some rocks.

The Vision is right out in the open in The Impasse, but it looks like a piece of the landscape.

Vision 5 - The Refraction

From The Landing’s transmat zone, travel onward into The Refraction.

It’s easier to spot from across the gap.

Jump down the roots beneath you and slip into the gap to reach the pool where the Vision resides.

This is another Vision that’s basically right next to the transmat zone.

Vision 6 - The Seclusion

Now we have a tricky one.

Make your way from The Blooming to The Seclusion, to Zavala’s Homestead.

Vision 7 - The Divide

It’s time to climb that big frozen mountain once again.

The different areas of the Lost City are color-coded to make them easier to navigate. Jump on the red platform and continue toward the red building at the end of that route.

From The Seclusion or The Impasse, head into The Divide.

When you get out onto the mountain itself, just head up until you reach the summit.

Jump up and behind it to find the Vision nestled tightly into this spot.

You’ll need to move to the left a bit to see the Vision hiding behind some rocks and trees within the waterfall pool.

Head to The Transgression from The Impasse transmat zone and just keep heading east.

When you see Pyramid columns ahead, you’re in the right place.

The tree is obscured by the dust but pretty big.

The northwest corner of The Lost City is the place you’re looking for.

Check behind the tree to find the last Vision of the Traveler.

To open that chest is another pretty involved process.

The other nine Motes drop from defeating the bosses of the Pale Heart’s Overthrow activity.

You can see the Vision of the Traveler in the distance, through that opening in the cliff wall.

The opening hiding the Vision is in the cliff wall at the north end of the area.

You can’t get to the Vision in The Seclusion until you have access to the Searing Light Cyst.

Behind the waterfall is a locked pathway. Shoot the runes on the walls in order, from top to bottom as they appear on the forcefield, to open the way.

Instead of advancing into the big orange room full of enemies, go around this tree to find another path up into the wall of the cave.

The spot can be easy to blow right past. If you’re getting blasted by Solar energy in a big fight with Hive enemies, you have gone too far.

Apart from the long walk, this is a relatively easy one. Just check behind that round dish at the top of the mountain.

Just be sure you don’t accidentally go too far and drop back down into the buildings below when you get to the top of the mountain.

The tree you’re looking for is deep in The Transgression, and you’ll walk through several different stormy sections to get there.

The tree is on the left side of the area and you’ll find the Vision just behind it.

As you can see here, it’s nearly at the eastern end of The Transgression.

We’ll update this guide as soon as we know how to open this chest.

In the meantime, you can now buy this cool Traveler thing in the Bungie store.
